Minor Eleventh chord - charango
The minor eleventh chord (m11 or min11) adds a perfect eleventh to the m9 chord. Unlike major chords, the minor third doesn't create friction with the eleventh and can be kept.

Theory
The m11 chord keeps all its notes as the minor third and eleventh are two tones apart. D m11 = D-F-A-C-E-G. It's a very rich chord used in modal jazz. The fifth is often omitted to lighten the harmonic density.
